What is Graphene?

Graphene is a single-atom-thick layer of carbon atoms arranged in a two-dimensional honeycomb lattice. As the thinnest known material, yet 200 times stronger than steel, graphene is the fundamental building block of graphite. Approximately 3 million graphene layers stacked together form just 1 millimeter of graphite. Its extraordinary strength, conductivity, and flexibility make graphene a transformative material across industries.
